Description

This web conference will provide resources for further skill building on defining roles, responsibilities, and responses to disclosures during online prevention programming. Participants will practice how to facilitate an online prevention program with a trauma-informed design, respond to disclosures of abuse, identify triggers, and build trust while adhering to legal and agency policies.



Learning Objectives

  • Discuss the legal landscape around confidentiality, privilege and mandatory reporting of child abuse and neglect in digital spaces.
  • Describe the California requirements of mandatory reporting of child abuse and neglect.
  • Identify key strategies in building trauma-informed online prevention programs.
