  • Project Coordinator

  • Under the direction of the Deputy Director and Program Manager, the Project Coordinator performs the
    day-to-day operation of VALOR’s research, information and technical support program. The Project
    Coordinator is responsible for the daily, overall contact and support of members (e.g., local rape crisis
    centers), allied professionals and VALOR’s national constituents in their utilization of training and technical
    assistance. The Project Coordinator must excel at technological support using VALOR’s web site, email
    groups, teleconference, web conference, database, e-mail and other systems in order to implement the
    technical assistance service to member and constituency groups. This position involves working on sexual
    assault intervention and services in various settings and in connection with many systems. VALOR serves
    audiences that include groups that work with individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities
    (IDD), colleges/universities, sport, labor/unions, law enforcement and military, at the statewide and
    national level. This is a full-time, exempt position based in either VALOR’s Sacramento or Los Angeles

  • Administrative and Accounting Associate

  • Under the supervision of the Director of Operations, this position is responsible for both
    Administrative and Accounting duties. General duties include office, finance and coordination
    of VALOR’s Sacramento Office. This support includes, but is not limited to; accounting and
    finance, management of all filing/record keeping systems related to finance, contracts and
    vendor information, general administrative support and receptionist duties. This position will
    contribute to the efficient functioning of the office and will work closely with the finance
    department to ensure effective and efficient operations. This is a full- time (w/full benefit
    package) non-exempt position based in our Sacramento office.

  • VALOR is seeking a self-motivated and talented Communications Manager to develop and implement a communications plan. This position requires a creative, strategic person that will convey -both externally and internally- the organization’s mission. The successful candidate will produce high-quality content that engages our constituents and builds brand recognition. The Communications Manager’s main duties will also include content development, messaging, public relations, marketing and social media outreach to share our brand, products and services. VALOR is looking for an excellent communicator, with excellent presentation and organizational skills. This position is responsible for disseminating relevant, up to date information to organizational constituents, including 84 rape crisis center programs. This is a full-time, exempt position based in VALOR's Sacramento office.
