ANNOUNCING NEW EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR OF BRIDGE OF HOPE CHESTER COUNTY

January 2, 2020

Lisa Cameron is joining the Bridge of Hope team as the new Executive Director of Bridge of Hope Chester County, effective January 6, 2020.  We are incredibly grateful to God for the skills, expertise and calling that has prompted her to say yes to this invitation to serve in this role.

From 2010-2019, Lisa served as Director of Empowerment Services at the YWCA Lancaster and has worked as a mental health therapist from 2004 to the present.  Her work with the YWCA continues in the role of consultant with the YWCA USA with a pilot program that focuses on trauma and girls/women of color.

Lisa has a bachelor’s degree in Psychology and Theatre from Eastern Mennonite University and a Master’s degree in community counseling from Western Michigan University. She is a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) and a certified trauma practitioner.

Lisa’s family includes husband Eddie and son James and they made the move to Chester County, PA from Lancaster City in early 2019. Eddie serves on the pastoral team at Hopewell United Methodist Church, located in Downingtown, PA, and which has had numerous Bridge of Hope Neighboring groups over the past decade.

We are so grateful to God for bringing Lisa to Bridge of Hope.
