For over 15 years Annika Leonard has worked to create a more just world as a community educator, organizer and youth advocate. She holds a Bachelor’s degree in Human Services from Springfield College of Human Services and a Master’s degree in Business Administration from Cardinal Stritch University. Annika enjoys attending and presenting at conferences to keep current on issues of gender based violence prevention, dismantling racism and reproductive justice. Her professional experiences working with young women in Milwaukee and her personal experience growing up in Milwaukee, led her to develop a curriculum which helps those most affected by patriarchy find their own expertise within difficult situations. The curriculum has been very successful in a number of Milwaukee high schools and community organizations. Annika is committed to a life of service and believes direct action organizing and critical dialogue are powerful tools to decrease violence against those most affected by patriarchy and increase collective action towards a more just world.
