My name is Jamika Nedwards and I am currently the Crisis Program Director at the Julie Valentine Center, a sexual assault and child abuse agency. I am also an Adjunct Professor at Southern Wesleyan University where I teach in the Criminal Justice and Human Services Programs. I received my B.A in Sociology with a minor in Criminal Justice from Lander University. Additionally, I received my M.S in Criminal Justice from Boston University. I am a graduate of Leadership Greenville Class 43. I have been honored as an Upstate Black History Maker. I was recently featured on the cover of the September 2018 Greenville Business Magazine for my work at the Julie Valentine Center and contributions to the community. I have also had the pleasure of volunteering at various organizations in my community.
