Jong-Ling Wu (吳仲齡, she/her/hers), MSW currently works as the Community Services Program Manager at Center for the Pacific Asian Family (CPAF), located in Los Angeles, CA. She is a child of immigrants, second-generation Taiwanese-American, and Southern California transplant, originally from San Jose/Bay Area. CPAF provides linguistically- and culturally-specific services to API immigrant survivors of domestic violence and sexual assault. Jong-Ling has been on staff with CPAF for about 12 years; she got her start in crisis intervention through volunteering with UCLA’s Peer Helpline and LA Mayor’s Office Crisis Response Team. Her hobbies include crocheting and martial arts. She speaks English and Mandarin. She is often accompanied by a crocheted jellyfish named Mr. Jelly, who is a regular co-presenter in discussions about self-care.
