Please join us for our Close to Home Skill Building training! It will take place online over the course of four sessions on January 10 and 12, 2023.

  • January 10 – Session One: Talk and Assess – 10am to 12pm – Register HERE
  • January 10 – Session Two: Youth Leaders Meeting – 4:30pm to 6:30pm – Register HERE
  • January 12 – Session Three: Adult Leaders Meeting 10am to 12pm – Register HERE
  • January 12 – Session Four: Build and Act – 1pm to 3pm – Register HERE

All sessions will have Spanish interpretation. C2H staff to attend all sessions (4 sessions total).

This training will discuss activities in all phases of the Close to Home model in order to help build strong relationships with community members. We will discuss the skills and strategies needed to develop and build an effective Close to Home Act model. We will also work to build community across the state for Close to Home cohorts with youth and adult leaders to strengthen our networking and supports across different Close to Home sites.


Learning Objectives: 

  • Participants will identify key relationship-building activities in the Assess and Talk phases
  • Participants will develop skills and strategies for crafting/building a C2H Act
  • Participants will build a community around C2H cohorts, youth leaders, and adults leaders
