I am currently the Chief Financial Officer (CFO) with the Arizona Coalition to End Sexual and Domestic Violence (ACESDV) I joined the coalition in July 2010 as a temp employee to fulfill the job of Administrative Assistant/Bookkeeper. Six months later on January 2011, I was hired as the full-time Administrative Assistant/Bookkeeper and on July 2012 I was promoted to Finance and Administration Manager, and since then I have held different titles under the same capacity. As the Chief Financial Officer I oversee all internal administration, including finance, human resources, office administration, and grant management. In January of 2017 I became a certified nonprofit accounting professional. I am also a member of ACESDV Leadership Team and the staff Liaison of ACESDV Communities of Color Committee. My native language is Spanish and I currently live in South Phoenix where I am very involved in my community with conversations about racism, oppression and the challenges and barriers that communities of color face on a daily basis. I share my home with my husband and our two dogs Cocoa and Baby Coco.
