Aly Tadros (she/her) is an Egyptian-American writer, musician, and trauma-informed facilitator. As Community Programs Coordinator of the Crime Victims Treatment Center, she trains and supervises CVTC’s 250+ rape crisis and domestic violence counselors. In 2020, she designed CVTC’s Therapeutic Writing Group for trauma survivors, drawing on 15 years of experience as a teacher. She is an MFA candidate at Queens College, and her essays on sobriety and trauma recovery have been published in the New York Times, Narratively, and the Brooklyn Rail.
