Corrine Cross has been with AWAIC since 2019, and she currently serves as a Programs Manager. In this role, she oversees seven grant-funded programs and manages staff to ensure services are delivered compassionately. Corrine is also engaged in the community, providing presentations and trainings on DV, Positive Masculinity, Ethical Communication, and Healthy Relationships. She holds a Practical Nursing degree from the State of Connecticut and is currently pursuing a Bachelor of Arts in Human Services, focusing on Child and Family Services from Southern New Hampshire University. Recently, Corrine was accepted into A Call To Men’s Leadership Academy in Charlotte, N.C., where she learned intricate ways to engage men and boys in violence prevention against ALL women and girls. Corrine and her team are spearheading a one-day summit this weekend for Domestic Violence and Religious Leaders. The summit aims to expand awareness of domestic violence among other communities in Anchorage, bringing leaders together to promote a safer community. Despite being a busy mother of three beautiful children, Corrine is a generous, kind, and compassionate person who desires to positively impact the lives of those in need.
