I began my work in the movement against sexual violence, and became certified in sexual assault counseling and advocacy with Sure Helpline Crisis Center in October 2016. Later, I was designated as the PREA Coordinator, as facilities’ PREA Compliance needs expanded. I currently oversee the work conducted in two CDCR Facilities, one Immigration Detention Facility , one County Jail, one Juvenile Hall, Federal Halfway House, and Re-entry Center.
