LaQuisha S. Anthony is the Advocacy Senior Manager at WOAR Philadelphia Center Against Sexual Violence and the founder of V.O.I.C.E. Victory Over Inconceivable Cowardly Experiences Inc., a survivor’s network. She is a thought leader, educator, author, and activist who amplifies voices, promotes healing. She is invested in a myriad of community engagement and social impact activities geared towards women & girls and sexual violence prevention education. She has devoted her professional life to advocating for and empowering all with a primary focus on black women & girls impacted by sexual and other forms of gender-based violence. Through her advocacy, LaQuisha played an intricate part in the historical change of PA’s Sexual Assault Statute of Limitations in 2018 and specifically forced an amendment to include college age students. She pursued her undergraduate education at Kutztown University of Pennsylvania, completed an Executive Education Program at Harvard University and identified as a 2019 Making Change participant. She serves as the United State of Women PA Ambassador and serves as the president of the board of Battle for Children Charity. She received the 2022 Governor’s Victim Service Pathfinder Award for her Advocacy work, the NSRVC 2021 Visionary Voice Award, honored by Philadelphia City Council for phenomenal work and leadership in the community, and a host of other notable honors. LaQuisha has a burning passion to change the world in her generation, while curating joy & being the best mother to her son Asher Ryan.
