Nallely Castro Montoya joined Esperanza United, formally known as Casa de Esperanza, in 2014 as the Youth Specialist. Her current role as the Prevention & Social Change Senior Manager is to organize, facilitate connections, support, resources, and leadership opportunities for Latin@s to end gender-based violence. In addition, Nallely supports the coordination of Esperanza United’s Amig@s Initiatives. Nallely graduated from the University of Minnesota with a Bachelor of Science in Family Social Science and a Bachelor of Arts in Chicano/Latin@ Studies in 2014. Since then, she has also worked in Minneapolis Public Schools as an AVID Tutor, Social Work Intern at AGAPE High School and a Mental Health Practitioner at Family Innovations. Nallely graduated from the University of Minnesota with a master’s in social work in 2018. Outside of work Nallely enjoys spending time with her family and going on long walks.
