Description

Join the Partnership and VALOR for a 6-session Peer Learning Cohort (PLC) to advance Economic Justice in our organizations and for our clients and community. The PLC will begin with a look at what economic justice is, how it prevents violence, and current positioning at the local and state levels. Subsequent sessions will explore current policies and programs that address the intersections of economic justice, social determinants of health, and sexual and intimate partner violence, and discuss how to advance violence prevention work to address economic justice as a protective factor. Topics include economic and employment opportunities, workplace policies, dependent care, housing, and healthcare.

This cohort will take place on the 2nd Tuesday of each month at 9:30-11:00am from January 13th to June 9th and will be a combination of content delivery, peer learning discussions, and exploring potential first steps to implementation.
