The Monterey County Weekly ran a profile of Boyhood Shadows, yesterday.
The documentary was produced locally and it “illuminates just how common and commonly hidden from view its painful subject is: male childhood sexual abuse.”
The premiere begins at 7:00 p.m. on September 22nd. The proceeds will benefit the Monterey County Rape Crisis Center’s Child Abuse Prevention Education Program which reaches over 5,000 public school children each year. Tickets are $20 in advance and $25 at the door.
