This week I worked with my tax preparer to file taxes and, while I do not think there is anyone that looks forward to tax season, I was surprised with how simple it was to make my voluntary contribution to the “California Victims Services Fund” on the CA State Tax Return form. You can simply allocate the amount you would like to contribute on Code 429 and it will be subtracted from your return amount (plus this amount is considered a donation and can be written off next year!).
