Description: This session presents Positive Solutions, an alternative to traditional intervention programs for individuals who perpetrate violence, focusing on accountability, healing, and behavioral change.Participants in the session will learn about the program model, the role of facilitators in presenting themselves in a “clean and clear” manner, and the use of non-hierarchical group practices. The session will explore active listening, emotional validation, tools based on cognitive-behavioral therapy, gratitude practices, and findings from group assessments that show increased recognition of abuse, acceptance of responsibility, and restorative pathways for families and communities.
