Sandra Henriquez has dedicated her life to preventing sexual and domestic violence. She began her work in Los Angeles advocating for survivors, with a special affinity for Latinx communities.  Sandra holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Anthropology and a Master’s degree in Business Administration (MBA). 

Since 2010, Sandra has served as the Chief Executive Officer of ValorUS® (VALOR), a California-based, national anti-sexual violence organization and California’s sexual assault coalition, which is dedicated to ending sexual violence by advancing equity. During her tenure Sandra has helped to transform the organization’s culture and strategies by centering the experiences of those who are most marginalized, amplifying their voices and focusing on creating systemic change. Under her leadership, VALOR partners with systems on behalf of incarcerated victims, immigrants in detention, farmworkers, and janitorial workers in communities throughout California and the nation.
