CALCASA’s national prevention project, PreventConnect, has created a prevention resource guide to promote comprehensive and collaborative prevention on campus. The guide is one of the new resources from PreventConnect Campus, an online community for prevention practitioners working on campuses and community-based practitioners partnering with campuses. The guide is a collection of key resources in campus prevention and is intended for all prevention audiences, but in particular state coalitions and rape crisis centers to help expand and enhance their own prevention efforts with campus communities.
The guide includes links to relevant research reports and recommendations by violence prevention stakeholders. The following topics are also addressed: approaches to prevention, policy resources, media and social marketing, partnerships and school climate information.
As the landscape of sexual and interpersonal violence prevention on campus is quickly shifting, the guide will be updated on an ongoing basis with links to new resources.
