Creating a healthy organizational culture requires staff feedback and assessment of how oppressive norms are reinforced in internal practices. In this workshop, Monarch SCC will share how they created multiple avenues for staff feedback and decision-making, including a staff-led DEIB (Diversity, Equity, Inclusion, and Belonging) committee and employee surveys. Participants will explore how creating a truth-telling culture leads to advancing equity and justice, internally and externally - from hiring practices to programmatic decisions.
