VALOR’s Leadership Engagement and Advancement for Professionals (LEAP) was established in 2012 as an opportunity for women and people of color in the anti-violence movement to grow their leadership skills. Over the past nine years, fellows have developed their own “pay it forward” project to share what they have learned through LEAP. In 2023, LEAP fellows from cohort 9 shared their knowledge on restorative justice and working with those who have caused harm, training and onboarding, policy development for those experiencing grief and loss, building your own organization, offering a re-frame on intergenerational dynamics in the workplace.
