Description

Join the Partnership and VALOR for the Safer School Communities PLC. The Safer School Communities PLC provides a space for people who practice prevention working across K-12 campuses. Whether connecting in-person or virtually, schools can be a challenge. Together we learn how to engage, build champions on campus, and celebrate those fabulous flops that teach us so much. You’re welcome to bring your champions on campus to learn together on what makes for a safer school community

The PLC meets monthly on the third Friday of the month from 12:30 - 2:00pm, providing a combination of content delivery, peer learning discussions, and implementation planning.

Audience: This Peer Learning Circle is open to all California preventionists and school partners who are looking to increase their knowledge and capacity around preventing sexual and intimate partner violence on school campuses.
