Description

This web conference will focus on providing a foundational understanding of the history of the reproductive justice movement and how this movement intersects with the anti-sexual violence movement, and participants will have the opportunity to engage in conversation with their peers about their understanding of the two movements. As advocates and direct-service providers, we recognize that sexual violence does not occur in a silo and neither does reproductive coercion. It is in our best interest to understand the intersections and work to advance the common goals of the two movements.

Spanish interpretation and closed captioning will be provided.

  • Develop a basic understanding of the reproductive justice movement.
  • Understand the intersections of reproductive justice and sexual violence prevention.
