Description: Rape crisis centers are no stranger to a lack of sufficient and stable funding, and right now, they face unique compounding challenges to maintain and grow funding in order to continue providing necessary services in their communities. Leaning on strength in community and organizational expertise are some ways that three California rape crisis centers have accessed new funding streams. Join this session to learn how Stand Up Placer, Vista Rise, and Wild Iris have elevated their expertise of their organizations. Presenters will lead participants through an activity sheet to help apply what they learn in this session to how they’ll diversify funding in their own organization.
