Description

Description: Join Close to Home (C2H) practitioners across the state for two days of four virtual workshops that will help your community mobilization projects in the development of your Act Phase by utilizing what you have already learned from your community in the Assess, Talk, and Build phases of the model.

Spanish language interpretation will be available for all sessions.

Audience:: C2H Programs Only (Rape Prevention and Education Program Tier One)

All C2H staff are encouraged to attend all four (4) workshops.

Youth leaders are invited to attend session 2 on September 19th from 4:30 pm to 6:30 pm PT. Adult leaders are invited to attend session 3 on September 21st from 10:00 am to 12:00 pm PT. For more information on each session and social media graphics to share with your community leaders, go HERE

Homework:

We ask that each Close to Home site come prepared to the first session with a short 2-3 slide presentation on your community learnings, an analysis of the data you have collected from your community, and key highlights from the Talk and Assess phases to share with the rest of the Close to Home projects.

We are also encouraging all sites to invite their youth and adult leaders to the second and third sessions of the workshops and asking each staff and community member to bring one picture or item that represents their work to those sessions.

Learning Objectives

  • Develop skills to look at Assess and Talk Phases data and learnings.
  • Connect community learnings to developing the Act Phase.
