Description

This PLC is hosted on the 1st Wednesday of every month from 3-4:30pm

Once you’ve registered, you can attend any session!

Supervising prevention programs requires mastery-level juggling and relationship skills, but does not always have an equivalent level of training and support as we enter these roles. On top of that, prevention programs and management require experience that is unique to our roles and often different from other management positions in organizations. It can be a little lonely out there! This space will work to build community among prevention supervisors for support, building leadership and management skills, and program development. The cohort will explore quarterly themes including 1) Foundations of Management and Supervision, 2) Trauma-Informed and Inclusive Supervision, 3) Managing Systems, Operations & Organizational Realities, and 4) Leadership, Influence & Community Engagement.

In July through September, we will explore the Foundations of Management and Supervision, including topics such as hiring, onboarding, supervision, and transition. In addition to our quarterly theme, we have open discussion time during each session to address the current questions, challenges, and successes of cohort members.
